WELCOME HOME SYDNEY
Sydney was able to return home last night with her mom and dad! We are all so excited to have them back home! They were especially ready to sleep in their own beds...and Sydney was excited to NOT have to be woke up by nurses all night long! She tolerated the chemo great! She and her parents and siblings are AMAZINGLY strong!
She was welcomed home to a yard full of balloons and posters, thanks to her Achievement Day leaders and girls! This was a wonderful sight for her to see!
She also had another big surprise! Just before she got sick and went into the hospital, Sydney and Justin had gone to choose paint to redo Syd's room. Justin was also working on refinishing some new furniture for her. We thought it would be very neat for her to be able to come home to her room all redone! She LOVED her room! Thanks to all who helped make this a VERY special moment for her.

The Beginning of her Journey
A few weeks ago, Sydney felt a lump on her chest. She went to the doctor to get blood work done and had an MRI at Primary Children's Hospital last Tuesday. She has been in the hospital since her MRI. Primary Children's Hospital has a great staff of doctors and nurses working with Sydney. She also been surrounded by love and support from friends and family
